Lotus-R helps remove damp toxins from the meridians. It helps clear mycobacterial infections at the neuromuscular junction and the synapse in the nervous system. Brown, LC Balancer and Xcel are also required to nurture the liver and kidney.
A neuromuscular junction is a specialized synapse formed between a terminal end of a motor neuron and a muscle fiber. It is through the neuromuscular junction that a motor neuron is able to transmit a signal to the muscle fiber, causing muscle contraction.
Infection of the neuromuscular junction by mycobacterium can interrupt the function of the neuromuscular junction and cause symptoms of muscle pain, weakness, easily fatigued, easily injured, and difficulty moving. The infection can also damage the structure of the neuromuscular junction and cause neuromuscular junction dismantling in severe cases. The infection of the neuromuscular junction by mycobacterium usually comes from the infected muscle, nerves, or body fluid.
In TCM, the condition is caused by damp toxin entering into the meridians due to liver and kidney deficiencies. Lotus-R helps remove the damp toxins in the meridians and clear mycobacterial infections in the neuromuscular junction. Brown, LC Balancer and Xcel are also required to nurture the liver and kidney. Patients should notice a reduction in symptoms within 3 days. 6-8 weeks of treatment is recommended to have significant improvement.
