Leveticin helps remove cold damp from the liver. It helps clear mycobacterial infections of the liver caused by mycobacteria such as Mycobacterium tuberculosis and Mycobacterium leprae.
Leveticin-R helps remove cold damp from the gallbladder and biliary ducts and clear mycobacterial infections of the gallbladder and biliary ducts.
Pathogens such as mycobacterium can infect the liver and the biliary duct and cause liver, gallbladder and biliary duct inflammation and destruction. The infections can also result in the formation of granulomas which are masses of granulated tissue made of clusters of immune cells. Mycobacterial infection and formation of granulomas in the liver can cause liver injury with symptoms of pain at the right upper quadrat. The pain is usually worse at night and after eating or drinking.
Mycobacteria that infect the liver can also infect the gallbladder and bile ducts and cause granuloma formation and injury to the gallbladder and bile ducts. Patients may also experience right upper quadrat pain which is worsens at night.
Leveticin helps clear mycobacterial infections in the liver. Leveticin-R helps clear mycobacterial infection in the gallbladder and biliary ducts. Brown and LC Balancer are also required to help repair liver damage. Bilegen may also be required to help enhance liver Qi to boost liver immunity and repair gallbladder and bile duct injuries. If the liver is severely damaged by the granulomas and multiple liver functions have been affected, Brown Plus may also be required to improve the liver function on a broad spectrum. Patients can experience symptom improvement in 1-3 days. 3 months of treatment is required for significant improvement.
